Shagtime Dance Team

The Shagtime Dance Team was started in 2004 to help promote the Carolina
Shag, especially within the junior community.  The original team members were
all active competitors in the Junior One Division and were 7-13 years in age.

They have competed as a team at The National Shag Dance Championships in
Myrtle Beach, SC, The Grand National Dance Championships in Atlanta, GA,
and the 2006 US Open Swing Dance Championship in Anaheim, CA.    

The Shagtime Dance Team danced at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World
in the summer of 2005.  The next year they performed aboard the Carnival cruise
ship Celebration.  They have also performed at many other shag events and
fundraisers.
