Full UCWDC Country Dance Competition  all divisions in couples, pro-am, line dance, & teams.  This
          event qualifies for the World Championships in Orlando.  Dec 29, 2008 - Jan 4, 2009.

A Thursday Night Dance
          Yes, we plan to have a big kick off dance featuring a free dance lesson that  night.  We will have
          Robert & Nicola Royston teaching a cool West coast  Swing.  Join all your friends or make new
          ones as we have a Thursday night party to kick off the Easterns. COME IN EARLY.  Tour DC on
          Friday!  Have a dance vacation!
Ballroom American & International ProAm Sunday
          New to the Easterns will be the Washington Dance Challenge  Ballroom Pro Am Jam to be held on
          Sunday during the day.  click here for info.
Line Dancing All weekend
          Wildman Louie and Jim "DJ Jam" will keep it hoppin' with a party all weekend.  Non-stop  line
          dancing in a separate room!  Many top names in the business will be here! Extra care has been
          taken to make this event Line Dance Friendly.  Check out all the top names!  Not only is there a
          separate line dance ballroom but a huge lobby dance floor for extra line dance fun during the day.
          There is a specially priced admission pass for Line Dancers that includes all workshops too!   
Pro-Am full UCWDC, plus Swing and Hustle
          The Easterns was the first to offerSwing and Hustle Pro am separate from the regular country pro
          am.  Over a hundred couples did it last year in all levels from Newcomer to Advanced. 
Swing Dancing Fri & Sat Nights
          Swing/Hustle in one ballroom, Country in another, Line Dance in another!  The best of all worlds all
          at one hotspot!  Plus a huge lobby dance floor featuring all types of dance.  Check out the top names
          in Swing invited this year including  Robert & Nicola Royston, John  Lindo, Jason Barnes & Erica
          Berg, Silvana Gallagher,  Brian Gallagher, Joyce Szili, Ken Roesel, Dave Moldover, Debbie Lynn,
          Shawn Ngyuen, Frank G, Tara Stotz and more!
Fri & Sat Evening Dances
          Open to the public, dance till 4am in 2-3 ballrooms and a line dance room!  Late night dancing with
          Swing DJ's John Lindo, Cassie Durand, and Wildman Louie St. George
Saturday Night Variety Show
          The Saturday Night Variety show is included with all night ticket holders and weekend passes you
           get it FREE!  This  show features  world class dancers, comedy, and more.  Always a sell out!
           We will be reserving tables for the variety show to Weekend pass holders that purchase group tables Workshops all Weekend
          The Easterns is known for all its top name instructors.  Whether its  country, swing, hustle, line dance,
           latin, and more, with over 30 workshops  it is a smorgasbord.
